ROYAL NEW YAM CUTTING CEREMONY: HON ANTHONY NWANKWO HONOURS EZEUDO I OF EZINESE MGBIDI ANCIENT KINGDOM, RECEIVES ROYAL BLESSINGS

The cultural richness of Ezinese Mgbidi was brought to the fore yesterday, 12th of August, 2023 at the palatial home of the Ezeudo l of Ezinese Mgbidi, HRH lgwe P.D. Uzochukwu as he marks the Royal new yam cutting ceremony. 

The member representing Awgu South Constituency Hon. Anthony Nwankwo ( Okwadike) in company of his entourage graced the ceremony to felicitate with the  revered monarch. 

In his speech, he eulogized the king for being a true custodian of the lgbo culture noting that the Royal new yam cutting ceremony is a revered cultural heritage in the socio-cultural history of Ndigbo. 

HRH, lgwe P. D. Uzochukwu who received him and his entourage, offered him a warmth reception and expressed his happiness for the honour. He went further to release royal blessings on him and prays for his success in office.

the Igwe in council, council of Mgbidi Traditional Title Holders and other dignitaries
