HANDS HEALTH INSURANCE AWARENESS PROGRAM; AWGUNTA AND OBEAGU CONSTITUENTS APPRECIATES HON. ANTHONY NWANKWO FOR KEEPING TO HIS PROMISES

In line with his promises to attract programmes that will have direct impact on the social well being of the people of his Constituency, the honourable member representing Awgu South State Constituency, Hon. Anthony Chukwudi Nwankwo(Okwadike) through his foundation- Hon.Anthony Nwankwo Development Scheme ( HANDS)  has rolled out health insurance  awareness programme with the National Health lnsurance Authority ( NHIA) to educate his Constituents on the benefits of the social health insurance scheme. 

His team and the NHIA officials today visited Awgunta and Obeagu  Communities to educate and guide the people on how to access and benefit from the National Health lnsurance scheme.

At Awgunta, The president general, on behalf of the community welcomed the new development with unhidden elation and pledged to give necessary support to ensure his people benefit maximally from the scheme. He poured encomium on Hon. Anthony Nwankwo for bringing such a life-saving programme to the good people of Awgunta. The awareness programme which took place at the community health center witnessed  a large turn of women and men of the community who were well intimated on how the scheme works and the provision Hon. Anthony Nwankwo has made to have them registered under the scheme. 

At Obeagu Community, the team received a warmth reception. The community members after the awareness lecture expressed their eagerness to be part of the programme as many beneficiaries gave eloquent testimony of the goodness of the scheme. 

The Honourable Councillor representing Obeagu ward and some elders of the land in their appreciation message, eulogized Hon.Anthony Nwankwo and his team for bringing such a laudable programme to them.They described   him as a leader that walks his talks and  pledged to always support him.
