FOR THE CULTURE: ENUGU LAW MAKER CELEBRATES WITH HIS CONSTITUENTS AS UGWUEME MARKS HER ANNUAL NEW YAM FESTIVAL

 

The honourable member representing Awgu South State Constituency, Hon. Anthony Nwankwo over the weekend joined his people to celebrate the grand finale of Ugwueme Annual New Yam Festival.

The event witnessed spectacular display of masquerade and cultural funfair with merriment as the good people of Ugwueme returned in their numbers to mark the grand finale of the festival.

The festival also attracted visitors from neighboring towns such as Mgbidi, Mmaku, Awgu, lokpanta and Isuochi. 

Hon.Anthony Nwankwo in his address, extolled his people for a successful outing and peaceful conduct throughout the festival.
