INT'L CHILDRENS DAY: HON ANTHONY NWANKWO CALLS ON PARENTS, CAREGIVERS AND LEADERS TO RE-PRIOTIZE DECENT BASIC EDUCATION AND PROTECTION OF THE CHILD RIGHT ACTS.

 

The Member-elect, Awgu state Constituency, Enugu State House of Assembly has called on parents, caregivers and political leaders to reprioritize decent basic education and protection of the the Child Rights Acts on the occasion of this year National Children Day.


Hon. Anthony Nwankwo who said this through his children day celebration message maintained that children are unique  gift from God and deserves adequate care and support to become a responsible citizen in our society. 




He went further to call on parents and political leaders to reflect on their roles and responsibilities to the children and take necessary steps to amend where they have failed. He reiterated  that the children are the  future and adequate care should be taken in  bringing them up for a secured future. 


As a legislature, he assured to use his office to advocate increase public expenditure on primary education and lawful protection of the Child Rights Act.


He wished all the children in Awgu South Constituency a happy Celebration as he prayed for good health and continued progress in all their endeavours.
