INSECURITY IN UGWUEME ROAD, HON ANTHONY NWANKWO ASSURES ADEQUATE SECURITY ARCHITECTURE TO ARREST THE SITUATION.

  

Following the increasing  incidence of criminal attacks on Ugwueme road, The member elect, Awgu South State constituency, Enugu State House of Assembly, Hon.Anthony Nwankwo (Okwadike) today, 22nd of May,2023  joined the Ugwueme community workforce on a scheduled clearing of  bushes and trees that serves as hideout for  criminals along the Ugwueme road. 

The communal work jointly called by the President general of Agulese Ugwueme Autonomous community,  Dr. Sunday Okafor and that of Eziobu Ugwueme Autonomous Community, Mr.Okoroafor Nelson  witnessed a large turnout of men and youth of the community with a concerted resolve to arrest the security situation. 

Hon.Anthony Nwankwo while addressing the people after the road work commended them for the large turnout and for understanding that security is everyone's business. In his words.

_"I want to appreciate you all for coming out enmase for the road work.  by this we have taken the first step in stopping the criminal activities on our road_

_Plans are already  underway to augment this first step we have taken_ - He said,  as he  assures the people that comprehensive security architecture will be installed to  provide adequate security on all Ugwueme roads. 

Mr Nelson okoroafor , The PG of Eziobu Ugwueme autonomous community on behalf of the PGs  appreciated Hon. Anthony Nwankwo for coming to join in the bush clearing work despite his tight schedules. He described him as a leader who leads by example and has the interest of the community at heart. He also appreciated those who contributed for the entertainment of the workers and all that turned up for the work. 

The joint workforce were made of youths and men from the two autonomous communities in Ugwueme.
