The Igbo saying that, 'Nwa bu nwa ora' came to the fore as families, friends, political associates, business partners and well wishers gathered with the family of the member-elect, Awgu South State Constituency, Enugu State House of Assembly, Hon.Anthony Nwankwo, on the dedication and thanksgiving service of his son, Master Jachimike TonyNwankwo.

The event, which took place Sunday, 30th April, at Omnium Sanctorium-Catholic  Chaplaincy, Godfrey Okoye University, Thinkers corners, Enugu and reception at his thinkers Corner Residence, attracted political dignitaries, entrepreneurs academicians and the creme de la creme in society. 

Political dignitaries in attendance are; the young and vibrant Enugu west Senator-elect, Engr.Osita Ngwu (RG),The 33kv and Asphalt Mayor of Awgu LGA,Hon.Pedro Okwudili Nwankwo(Eze Omeogo), The Deputy Speaker, Enugu State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon.Ugwu callistus Uche, Chief whip,Enugu State House of Assembly, Hon.Jane Eneh( Agudo nwanyi), Commissioner for science and technology, Hon.Obi kama, Commissioner for Culture and Tourism,Hon. Ugonna lbeh, PDP chairman, Awgu LGA, Hon.Okey Udeh,  Member-elect, Aninri State Constituency,Hon. Magnus Ede, Member-elect, Uzo Uwani State Constituency, Hon. Ekwueme Chukwuma, Member-elect,igboeze North,Hon. Obe Clifford Nnaemeka, 

Others are Former Member, ESHA,Awgu South State  Constituency, Hon. Nelson uduji, former commissioner for Health, Dr.Uche Uzochukwu( Dr. Kpom), former commissioner for Agriculture,Prof. Martins Anikwe, Hon.Ndubuisi Nwankwo(Admin, Anike Dev.Centre), Hon.Oha Maximus (Admin, Awgu central dev.Center), Hon. Egbo Solomon(Admin. Mbanabo Dev.centre), All the councillors of Awgu South Constituency and several other political appointees. 

In the business Community are; High Chief Ossy Nwobu,CEO Fontana's group of Companies, Chief Surv. Osita Achi, ( Enyikwaauzo),CEO Fitobrics Construction company ltd, Engr.Tony Onyeke, General Manager, Ferotech  Construction Company ltd and other several captains of real estate developers. 

In the professional fields are the Deputy Chief medical director, National  Nurophychratic Hospital, Dr. Jezie Ubochi, Major Gen Edward Nze ( Rtrd), Dr ifeanacho Abireh(parklane) and other distinguished professionals. 

Hon.Anthony Nwankwo in his thanksgiving speech, expressed his overwhelming joy and gratitude to God Almighty for the gift of Jachimike whom he described as God's golden gift to his family. He also gave his appreciation to all the guests that honoured the dedication ceremony and prayed for journey mercies to their various destinations.  

Other side attraction to the dedication ceremony was the special appearance of  artiste shinny bobo and the one man squad band- Agu who rented the atmosphere with good music and kept the guest on their dancing shoes.
